Amusing...definitely need something to reward the "win" condition, eg. another graphic, or better yet, another level with a few other +/- options to upgrade or spend/lose clicks. Dark mode doesn't seem to be useful - obscures the running total except in full screen mode where the square of white or black is only in the upper left corner.
10/10 game would 100% play again. Interesting storyline with in-depth characters. I hope you continue this masterful venture into narrative storytelling.

Like a leaderboard? I would like to do that but I don't know a good way to 1) prevent cheating and 2) do it without a server

Yeah thats intentional, the game is supposed to just crash when you win it. I'm planning on adding a "secret ending" or something eventually.
fullscreen is funny. If you made it in godot go to display -> window -> stretch and make mode canvas_items
